Although all of CMG removal vehicles are equipped with air suspension, we cannot stress the importance of careful packing. Whilst all our crews take exceptional care when loading our vehicles, the packing of individual cartons remains an important part of any move. If it's not done correctly it can cause cost and upset for those irreplaceable family heirlooms.

CMG's experienced, fully trained staff can take care of some or all of the packing for your move.

CMG use only quality packing materials from sturdy cartons to specialist crating and packaging cases for all diverse and delicate items, from pianos to large plasma screens and pot plants to chandeliers.

Full Household Packaging Service

This will typically be a two day move.

Day 1: We send a team of packers to your home just prior to your move (normally the preceding day) and they will carefully wrap and pack all your belongings and prepare all items for your move.

The majority of your belongings will be loaded onto our removal vehicle the day before your move out date, leaving you with all the items you require for your final night (beds and linen, TV and some basic essentials in the kitchen).

Day 2: The team will arrive at a pre-agreed time, complete the loading process and your move into your new home. Most removal companies focus only on moving you out, CMG also pays particular attention to your moving in and how we can reduce your workload once you have said goodbye to your removal crew.

Bespoke Pack Service

This service is exactly as it says. Whether it is a part pack, or you require a small number of fragile, delicate or indeed awkward items to be packed, CMG have all the required expertise and materials to make your move smooth and safe.

Self Pack

If you prefer to pack your items yourself we offer an extensive range of packing materials such as removal boxes, book boxes, wardrobe boxes, bubble wrap and tape.

Additional packing materials are also available on request at competitive prices; please speak to your removal coordinator for additional information.

If you are packing yourself, it's important that you complete all packing prior to your CMG team's arrival. Additionally we offer an unpacking service, This service includes the unpacking and unwrapping of your fragile items onto a flat surface and the disposal of packing materials.
