Lloyds TSB Archiving Dept Relocation

Challenges

To move out the entire contents of Lloyds TSB archive centre West Sussex, store in CMG Secure Storage Centre and then return in sequential order once refurbishment had taken place.

Moving a large department in a short space of time required expert planning by senior move consultants, this followed by a large qualified team instructed with every last detail.

Approach

As with all large commercial relocations CMG sent 2 senior move consultants to survey and calculate based on cubic capacity.

Preparation and Planning

Preparation prior to moving is vital, several visits were made to the site ensuring all staff are briefed prior to the relocation taking place.

Co-ordination and Assistance

As the move progressed requirements developed to provide CMG staff assisting Lloyds personnel in packing larger departments.

Immediately trained CMG staff were supplied which resulted in fast and efficient preparation.

Completion

After several weeks of planning and 6 days of intensive moving, the relocation was completed resulting in a highly successful move.
